This isn’t just a typical university open day. Winterweek is a week-long immersive experience designed to give you a real glimpse into the life of an engineering student and the professional world that awaits. You’ll tour world-class departments—from Mechanical and Mechatronic to Chemical and Electrical & Electronic—attend undergraduate lectures, and work on a group engineering project. The highlight for many is the opportunity to visit top engineering companies and interact directly with professional engineers in the industry.
Your stay, including accommodation in a student residence and three meals a day, is all part of the experience. Even your transport from Cape Town International Airport is taken care of.
