The National Society of Black Engineers of South Africa (NSBE-SA) has been at the forefront of advocating for the development and empowerment of local engineering talent to address the skills gap within the country. In line with this mission, NSBE has voiced its position on the contentious issue of employing Cuban engineers in the Department of Human Settlements (DHS), highlighting the availability of qualified South African engineers.
