National Society of Black Engineers (SA) has identified three strategic pillars to form its organisational structure, namely ordinary membership who have accredited engineering qualifications; Student Chapters that represent engineering students in conventional universities and universities of technology; and the Business Forum which is made up of affiliate professional engineering companies.

We strive to align our business focus and objectives with all pillars of government, i.e. National, Provincial, Local and Municipalities. In this manner we assist government structures to achieve their objectives and targets of Job Creation, Skills Development and Training, and Poverty Alleviation initiatives through provision of engineering skills and capacity.
