The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is organizing a thought-provoking Renewable Energy Dialogue on the 20th of April, 2023. This dialogue is aimed at delving into the critical dynamics that are compounding the country's energy crisis, as well as to highlight pathways for long-term solutions.

One of the primary topics that will be covered during the Renewable Energy Dialogue Session is the Energy Skills Roadmap developed by the South African National Energy Association (SANEA). This roadmap is crucial in addressing the country's energy challenges by identifying the skills that are needed to effectively manage renewable energy projects. Moreover, the dialogue will also focus on resolving the power crisis in South Africa by exploring feasible approaches to add more renewable energy sources into the Eskom Transmission Grid. This solution would help to increase the country's electricity supply, and reduce its reliance on fossil fuels.

The Renewable Energy Dialogue presents a unique opportunity for stakeholders in the energy sector, researchers, and policymakers to share their ideas and knowledge on renewable energy. You are cordially invited to attend this session and contribute to this crucial conversation. To confirm your attendance, kindly send an email to events@nsbe.org.za.
